Welcome to my little corner of the web!
Generally I prefer to write long articles about little things. Today I thought I would try writing a bunch of small articles. Don't know if it's due to the fact it is Friday, or if I have to much going on in my brain to pick a single topic. Whatever the reason, the following snippets should give you some good reads...
John Aguiar, whom I follow on Twitter linked this article yesterday and I decided to go check it out. I have to admit, after reading the article I am not surprised by Google moving into the apps marketplace, I just wondered what took them so long. I am actually pretty excited about this, not only am I big fan of Google, but I love to see anything that improves the chance of the little guy getting on even footing with big business. Call me a sucker for the underdog.
I don't know if you have read Julia Dale's blog entry on the new Kindle for Pc, but you should. Also make sure to buy the first chapter of her book. I did and the writing was pretty solid. I might just have to throw something up in the near future as well. Stay tuned boys and girls.
Normally I am not one to promote television blogs, but this time I need to make an exception. I have been watching Spartacus Blood and Sand on Starz and the show is awesome, a bit over the top, but still a great thing to watch. I was at the show's page last night and read this article. It made me laugh quite a bit. If only my history teacher in high school had been this entertaining, I might not have fallen asleep so often.
If you are looking for a glance into what kind of questions men ask and the answers they give each other, wander over to daily chowder and browse through the many questions they have posted. You are probably going to giggle at a few of the answers. Are we men really this dense at times?
Along the same line as Daily Chowder is The straight dope. This site has some amazing stuff on it and never fails to entertain me. Next time you are bored, or just want to increase your knowledge base a bit, point your browser in that direction and have fun.
I myself want a bit of feedback on a couple things I have been kicking around in the dome on top of my shoulders. First, did you like this article? It's a new way of approaching things and I am thinking about making it a weekly thing. Let me know if I should keep it or not do it ever again.
Second, I am strongly considering starting a Dear BigOosh column here. Basically I would ask you to send me questions and I would answer them. It would probably be better to have asked this when I didn't point out two sites that already kind of do this, but what the heck, figure I would ask anyway.

Hey no problem buying your writing, I like to support independent stuff. I am more than a little tired of the commercial stuff they like to throw at us. I like the idea of a bold mini heading, should have thought of that myself.

oh ah, about the Friday facts... Ya I think that is a good idea. The only thing I would change is make a bold Mini heading for each "Fact"

Hey you bought me, THANKS! Ya the story is going in the direction of a Paranormal, thriller... I love my main character... not your typical hero. Post when you publish, I'll buy you too.
